Transformation is a Pet Insight unlock
Common pet records list Mount at Pet Insight Lv. 1, Mount Glide at Lv. 2, and Transform at Lv. 3. Open a companion’s detail page to inspect its individual unlocks; Special records do not list a Lv. 3 transformation.
How many souls do you need?

The initial pet unlock is separate from these duplicate soul costs. If you have already collected unused souls, subtract those from the remaining requirement with the Pet Insight calculator.
Find a transformation target
Choose a common companion in the pet library, confirm that its level-three reward lists Transform, and inspect its soul drops. If it has recorded coordinates, the farming map shows the listed monsters and spawn points.
Pet Insight and Genus Insight are separate
Pet Insight is the three-level progression for one companion. Genus Insight is shared progression within a genus, with analysis slots unlocked through genus levels. Raising one pet provides EXP toward that genus. Rolling analysis properties has separate Soul Crystal and Kina costs.
Check your regional client
Names, menus and availability can change with localization or patches. The individual record is a reference for listed unlocks; confirm the actual transformation action in your game client once the requirement is met.
