AION 2 PET GUIDE

Best AION 2 pets: choose for your stats

A practical guide to choosing a pet genus, collecting new companions, and finding soul farming targets.

Checked October 14, 2026

Your most useful next pet depends on the rewards you want and which souls you can realistically obtain. The current records give common pets the same Owned Effect progression within a genus. That makes genus and acquisition route useful starting points.

A useful order of decisions

  1. Compare the reward tables for your desired stats.
  2. Check whether you can unlock a new common pet in that genus. A new unlock provides 500 EXP.
  3. Open the pet’s farming locations and acquisition categories.
  4. For a pet you own, plan its next level: 25 souls to Lv. 2, followed by 75 to Lv. 3.

Concrete pets to inspect

These are examples from each common genus, not a universal tier list. Compare their recorded regions and sources before choosing a target. Drop rates are not published in this dataset, so this guide does not label any target the fastest farm.

What about Special pets?

The six listed Special companions use shop, Trade Shop or chest sources. The source does not list the common genera’s Owned Effect or EXP rewards for them. Check the individual pet page before treating a Special companion as a stat upgrade.
